Earl Sweatshirt isn’t one to hold his tongue or mince words. The Odd Future member mocked Macklemore‘s hit single “Can’t Hold Us” on Twitter last month and used social media once again this week to voice his opinion on Jay-Z‘s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail.

To put it simply: Earl wasn’t impressed.

The outspoken rhymer not only dismissed the project but said that any one of his followers who enjoyed the album should stop following him on Twitter.

“I love jay z ive just been skeptical of 2013 jay z cause suit and tie verse didnt do too much for me,” Earl explained initially. Then after some fans balked at his tweet, he decided to go all in. He also implied that any praise that MCHG has gotten is solely because of Jay-Z being Jay-Z.

“If you really f—ed with magna carta then unfollow me,” he tweeted. “I hope that opinions on my material throughout my career are based on the quality of it and not how big my name is.”

Of course, because of the nature of Twitter, Jay-Z fans pounced. But Earl laughed off any angry reactions to his tweets by further mocking those who go overboard in their love of the Brooklyn icon.

“Hahah welp theres goes the last of the black fans i had,” tweeted Earl. “hahaha FATHER FORGIVE ME FOR I HAVE TAKEN THE NAME OF OUR HOLY SAVIOR JAY Z IN VAIN.”
