Shamicka Reveals She Has Lupus
Besides dealing with the psychological effects of her divorce from Martin Lawrence, Shamicka reveals that she’s been diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune disease in which the body attacks its own self. During a visit with her doctor, she reveals that for an entire month, she couldn’t smell or taste, she could barely swallow and suffered with mouth sores and hair loss. Shamicka cries as she explains that she used to feel like less of a mother and wife when she would take time away from her family to focus on treating her disease. Now, her health has improved since deciding to put more energy in taking care of herself.
