This weekend, Melanie Fiona and Angie Stone attended the 66th Annual Bronner Brothers International Hair Show promoting an award-winning stage play, Trey Anthony’s ‘da Kink in My Hair in which they star. Making its debut in Atlanta on September 6 – 8, 2013 at the Cobb Energy Performance Centre, the stageplay is set in Toronto at a Caribbean hair salon and revolves around Novelette, a West Indian hair stylist who serves as a confidant for each character who struggles through everyday trials and tribulations; many which are familiar to most black women.
Melanie Fiona and Angie Stone signed autographs and took pictures with fans at the UPSCALE Magazine booth. Later, Stone introduced Anthony, the executive producer of the play, to her fans before her performance before a crowd of thousands.
