Are Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes dating?

2011 Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards - Red Carpet

Jamie Foxx has certainly had his fair share of Hollywod starlets, but a surprising new rumor claims that the Hollywood bachelor is now spending his time wooing his friend Tom Cruise’s A-list ex-wife, Katie Holmes.

Rumors of a romance between the two began after they were recently spotted dancing together at a charity event. Now, multiple source have allegedly confirmed to In Touch Weekly that the pair’s dance has turned into a full blown love connection.

“Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while,” said one insider, adding that Jamie has secretly been spending time at Katie’s apartment. “They’re very Mission: Impossible about their romance.”

“A hotel employee of the Trump Soho Hotel stated that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car,” the second source reveals. “So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment.”

However, despite all of the speculations and allegations, Foxx recently spoke to “Entertainment Tonight’s” Nancy O’Dell and refuted all claims that he and Holmes are more than friends.

“[The rumors] are 100 percent not true,” Foxx said. “In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people.”

However, a source for Us Weekly claims that, although the pair isn’t a couple, Foxx did try to put the moves on Holmes. An eyewitness claims that Foxx “grabbed her butt and tried to seal the deal” after their dance. Holmes was supposedly “flattered, but not interested.”

Well, if that last rumor is true, this certainly wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen an attempt at an odd Hollywood pairing. Check out some other odd failed love connections below. – nicholas robinson
