Hailing from the southeast side of Chicago, Giftz is poised to stake his claim among Chicago’s elite emcees. At just 23, the upstart rhyme spitter has already earned looks from FakeShoreDrive, Ruby Hornet, The Fader, 2 Dope Boyz and Complex Magazine among others.
It’s been about a year since his last project Back II The Basics dropped and in that time Giftz has been hard at work on his latest project, Position Of Power. This time around he brought a few friends along as Freddie Gibbs, King Louie and MMG’s Rockie Fresh all make cameo appearances.
After one listen Giftz makes it clear that he is most certainly in a position of power.
