Ondrea Japonica Stevens 19, and her unborn child sadly lost their lives as the young mother-to-be slept. In the middle of the night, someone shot several rounds into an apartment window at Little Rock Apartment on Leake Street in west Charlotte, N.C. Friends and neighbors believe her boyfriend — who didn’t live there — was the target.
Stevens was in her first trimester and was shot in the chest and leg as she slept on the living room sofa. She was transported to Carolinas Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
