The release of the Air Jordan 11 Gamma Blues created havoc across the nation. Mayhem occurred in several cities before and after the sneakers, which retail for $170, were released on Dec. 21.

In Stockton, Calif., a fight broke out at the Finish Line at Webstertown Mall. The fight was recorded on a cellphone video camera and eventually went viral.

In Dallas, and argument occurred after several men attempted to break the line at the Southwest Center Mall at 6 a.m. Potential buyers had camped out overnight for an opportunity to purchase the shoes.

In the Bronx, N.Y., police officers had to break up a fight between teenage girls who were in line waiting to purchase the sneakers.

Every year, the Jordan brand releases rare sneakers and only supplies a certain amount to each store. In turn, the  demand rises and creates havoc. In the past, individuals have been injured and some have even been killed over a pair of Air Jordans.

Michael Jordan or representatives from Brand Jordan have yet to respond to the nationwide chaos.
