Married to Medicine
Bravo’s “The Real Housewives” franchise already exposed the dirty truth that the jobless, unknown housewives (of which the shows had few), girlfriends and mistresses of rich men can be some of the most catty, self-glorified divas that we’ve seen, especially when they’re drunk or fighting. But when the network focused in on the wives of respected Atlanta doctors, somehow the entertainment factor was lost as we watched women of supposed esteem and status tarnish their own images with knock-down-drag-out shade fests and fights. We prefer to see our doctors and their wives acting with grace, not slapping each other in the face.
