Charis Simms
Charis Simms is acutely aware of the importance technology plays in spurring economic development in emerging economies. In her storied experience in telecommunications and her current role at Aio Wireless as director of devices and accessories. She is responsible for branded devices and the accessory portfolio sold in stores and online.
Simms has a particular interest in eliminating hunger and improving the quality of life for the less fortunate. She regularly volunteers at the Atlanta Food Bank and supports local area food programs.
“I think about how to do my job and live my life to my full potential. If that makes me powerful, then that is just a residual bonus,” she says.
Simms earned a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service and her MBA from the University of North Carolina.
