Sherri Shepherd’s estranged husband reportedly wanted to amend their prenup
Sherri Shepherd’s estranged husband, Lamar Sally, apparently had a list of bizarre demands in a proposed prenup amendment. As previously reported, Sally filed for divorce from “The View” star on May 2, and is demanding custody of their unborn son due July 28, via a surrogate.
Now according to TMZ, who dug up official court docs, Sally at one point had a list of oddities of which he wanted Shepherd to agree. Not long after the two wed in 2011, he presented Sherri with a proposed prenup amendment which included the following:
— “I respect my husband’s opinions and recognize him as the leader of our home. I will always speak well of my husband.”
— “I enjoy having sex with my husband. I crave intimacy with him and want to be uninhibited and free in our lovemaking.”
— “MY BODY IS IMPORTANT TO ME. I STRIVE TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY BODY WEIGHT AND EXERCISE AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK.”
— “It is my joy to submit to my husband as a way to honor God.”
Sally has since responded to the report and is denying ever making the demands. TMZ maintains however that they are in possession of the original document and it will more than likely be used during divorce proceedings.
“I did not want her to sign an amendment to our prenup,” said Sally in a statement. “We had a lot of love in our marriage. I still love her. To no one’s fault, at some point, we started to view marriage differently. I refuse to let her friend’s, advisors, hanger-on’s and the media sullen those memories.”
Shepherd has yet to speak on her impending divorce.
