Tahj Mowry is humming. It’s no discernable song, just an easy, carefree melody —one that suggests a genuine state of happiness. But could anyone really blame Tahj for being happy right now? With a hit sitcom currently on ABC Family (”Baby Daddy”), a star-studded family, and a blossoming music career set to take flight, there are plenty of things for Mowry to be thankful for.
That much was evident during his exclusive cover shoot with rolling out. For Mowry, the road to this point in his career has been long and winding. But it’s led him back to the place where he always belonged … in our living rooms week in and week out, sharing laughs. It’s what he was made for, and Mowry has long accepted that calling. Maybe that’s why he was humming throughout his rolling out photo shoot.
It’s been a great experience photographing you today. What’s been happening with you?
I’ve been very busy working on the ABC Family sitcom “Baby Daddy.” We are currently in our third season, and it’s going really great. The fans are loving it, and they are seeing me in a new character. It also returns me to sitcoms, which I feel like people enjoy watching me on … it’s where I got my start, and it’s what I grew up on. I love the show though; it’s a great ensemble cast, and my character is very interesting. He’s very high energy, and I just have a blast on set becoming Tucker day in and day out.
