Last week, news broke that there may be a sex tape of Iggy Azalea floating around and that porn giant,Vivid Entertainment, is in talks to sell it. Although Azalea has gone on record denying that it’s her in the alleged video, her ex-boyfriend recently spoke and claimed that it is indeed the rapper in the video.
As previously reported, although Azalea denied claims that she has a sex tape, her legal team says that it could be her in the video. They claim the tape may have been shot “without her knowledge or consent” by an ex-boyfriend and that he has leaked the tape for revenge.
Making matters worse is that Azalea’s team is also claiming that the 24-year-old rapper might have been underage when she made the tape.
However, Azalea’s ex, Houston rapper Hefe Wine, recently confirmed to TMZ that he’s the man allegedly in the video with Azalea. Wine also claims that he met Azalea after she turned 18 and that she was “100 percent fully aware” that they were shooting a private sex tape.
Wine says that he didn’t leak the tape, explaining that it likely made its way to Vivid when his computer was stolen a few months ago. Wine says he’s interested in making a deal with Vivid, but it seems like Azalea plans to fight the tape’s release to the bitter end.
Azalea’s lawyers recently sent a letter to Vivid, claiming that the name “Iggy” is gold and protected by U.S. trademark, which would bar Vivid from using her name to promote the tape. However, Vivid seems unfazed and still wants to release it.
And although Wine claims he and Azalea are still friends, sources claim that she feels betrayed by him.
