Teairra Mari certainly made an unforgettable first impression on fans during the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” series premiere, but not for any of the right reasons. Not only did Mari attack her ex-boyfriend, Ray J’s, new girlfriend, Princess Love, but previews for the season show her attacking Ray as well. And although Mari has already gotten violent on the show, she recently claimed that she’s not crazy, she’s just angry with Ray and Princess.
In a new interview with Hello Beautiful, Teairra Mari discussed her relationship with Ray J and explained that there’s no chance that they’ll ever reunite romantically.
“It’s nothing now. This has totally destroyed any possibly of it ever being anything again. We were together off and on for a span of nine years. I loved him to death, I even had his name tattooed on me. I loved him with all my heart. It went pretty deep. He’s always that one that I would always go back to,” said Teairra.
While discussing her past with Ray, Teairra revealed that she and Kim Kardashian were involved with Ray at the same time.
“I wasn’t around then [when he was with Kim Kardashian]. I think he was f—ing with her when he was f—ing with me, You know creeping around — but I wasn’t there for their relationship. I was there when he signed on to do “For The Love Of Ray J” — that’s when we broke up the first time,” she said.
However, things between Teairra and Ray ended for good last year after he moved on to his current girlfriend, Princess. According to Teairra, she wouldn’t have a problem with Princess if she hadn’t gotten involved in her beef with Ray.
“Me and Ray had a little unfinished business and she inserted herself in the cross fire. She just got too involved in certain things that he could have settled and squashed and me and him could have just been done. She tried to take shots at me and stuff, that’s why I hate her guts,” Teairra explained.
Although Teairra says she still cares for Ray, she’s not exactly his biggest fan anymore either. And while talking about her fight with him, she says that Ray pushed her to get violent.
“He pissed me off to the point of no return. He kept being disrespectful and I exploded. He poked and poked and poked and I took it for a while,” Teairra explained.
Despite her raw emotions and rage, Teairra says she wants people to know that “I’m not crazy!”
Unfortunately for her, reality TV doesn’t paint her in the most sane or stable light. Though, hopefully, fans will get to see another side of Teairra besides the violence and the rage. – nicholas robinson
