There are many parents across the U.S. that shop at Dollar stores for inexpensive toys for young children. However, parents should beware of one toy for their young girls. A casual look at the packaging would make a parent think the toy is a fairy-tale princess wand, but in fact it has a demonic surprise.

The toy clearly states on the packaging that is for ages 3 and up, plays music, and has an innocent child’s face on the front, but it is called “EvilStick.” When one Dayton, Ohio, mother peeled back the foil wrapper on the wand, she discovered an image that no parent would want a 3-year-old child to see. It was the picture of a girl, with an evil bloody grin, slitting her wrists. The owner of the store, Amar Moustafa, stated that the mother should have known what the toy was all about because it was called an “EvilStick.” He went on to state that “children see these things on TV every day.”  For now, Moustafa has stated that he will not remove the toy unless he gets more complaints directly from customers.
