As the world processed the judgments behind the deaths of Eric Garner and Mike Brown, many of us have forgotten about the little children. Most hearing about racism for the first time, still joined their families out on the front lines holding signs and chanting “Don’t Shoot.” While we would all love to live in a world where our children shouldn’t feel threatened by someone supposedly appointed to protect and serve, it’s important for the children to be aware to help invoke change in their future.
