After many years as a musician, Detroit-bred super producer Brandon Williams has finally released his new album. Titled Xll, the transformative and soulful album consists of collaborations with more than 70 musical engineers and artists. The album’s title is a nod Williams’ ability to play 12 musical instruments and his belief that there is power in numbers, which is evident in the journey to birth his new soulful project.

Unlike many of today’s artist, Williams’ music steers clear of the overused electronic factory sound and restores love to songs by creating original music with a live band, blending beautiful sounds from a plethora of instruments and musicians. Xll plays like a love letter from Detroit to the world and has been considered by some of Detroit’s finest musicians as “beautifully human, filled with love and soul and is essentially timeless.”

Williams’ talent has earned him the opportunity to open up for and tour alongside world-famous R&B stars, including Talib Kweli, Wyclef Jean, Musiq Soulchild, The Isley Brothers and Raheem Davaughn. This musical tastemaker and extraordinary producer has also produced for some of the industry’s premium artists, such as Janet Jackson, Pharoahe Monche, Vicki Winans, JadaKiss and Anita Baker.
