Apollo Nida's reality TV checks being garnished?

Apollo Nida already lost his freedom and his wife thanks to his eight-year prison sentence for identity theft and fraud, and now it seems that he’s about to lose his riches as well because a new report claims that his “Real Housewives of Atlanta” checks are going to be garnished.

Although the men of “RHOA” have claimed in the past that they don’t get paid for their time on the show – which many fans doubted – RadarOnline is reporting that a judge has ordered the show’s production team, True Entertainment, to garnish Nida’s wages so he can pay back the $1.9 million debt he owes in restitution to JPMorgan Chase and the IRS.

“You are hereby required to withhold and retain pending further order, any property, funds, accounts, royalties, wages, monies, stock or earnings of the judgment debtor, including but not limited to any new property of which you obtain custody, control, or possession while this Writ is in effect,” reads the alleged court order sent to True Entertainment.

“You are further required by law to answer in writing, under oath, within ten days, after receipt of the Writ, providing the following information: Whether you have any property owned by or due to Apollo Nida, including funds, accounts, monies, stock, earning in your custody, control or possession, a description of the property and the value of the property … the amount you are holding, owe, or anticipate owing to Apollo Nida,” the documents state.

Well, we already knew this was going to be a tough experience for Nida, and now it’s definitely going to be a tough time for his wallet as well.
