Darryl Guillyard believe that he should have been rewarded for showing gentlemanly qualities.
According to reports by DNAinfo, Lakeeya Walker, 22, was leaving the Elliot Houses in New York where she works as a caretaker. Once Walker, seven weeks pregnant, made it to the main entrance of the complex, Guillyard opened the door for her.
But after Walker walked through the door, Guillyard began yelling at her and called her an “ungrateful f—–g b—-.” Initially, she believed he was upset because she didn’t say thank you when he opened the door for her.
Guillyard threw a cup of coffee on her and grabbed her by the neck and lifted her off the ground while choking her. He eventually threw her on the ground and began kicking her in the stomach.
Walker believes that Guillyard was intentionally trying to do harm to her unborn baby and that the attack could’ve been a set up. At press time, police have yet to arrest Guillyard or anyone else who may have orchestrated the crime.
Doctors told Walker that a blood clot formed near her baby’s head, but she would recover and have a safe pregnancy.
