1. Henson studied engineering and science at the University of District Columbia and North Carolina A&T, before switching her major and getting a degree in theater arts at Howard University. Other actors who obtained a degree from HU include Laz Alonso, Anthony Anderson, Chadwick Boseman and Wendy Raquel Robinson.
