During this week’s season premiere of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Nikko Smith claimed that he had secrets about Mimi Faust that he was willing to reveal if she continued to bash him and deny a book deal that she signed with him, giving him 25 percent of the profits. And now Smith has begun telling those secrets, including an accusation that Faust hired him for “LHHA.”

In a recent interview with Hot 97, Smith talked about his journey to “LHHA” and explained that he Faust and her manager approached him in L.A. about possibly being her love interest on the show.

“It made sense to after what Steven Jordan [Stevie J] did to her. She was torn up or whatever. They invited me out to dinner. They did the whole wine and dine me,” Smith said, who explained that he was struggling in L.A when they approached him. “They had the producer for VH1 at the time with them.”

Smith explains that they invited him out again before asking him to be Faust’s fake boyfriend on the show.

Since joining the cast, Smith has become one of the biggest villains on the show, which is something he says he’s OK with.

“They think I’m an a–hole, a scumbag, a womanizer,” said Smith, who blames editing for the way he’s portrayed. “They’ve got the best editors in the world … I go with it because I sign my name on that dotted line like everybody else and it’s a job.”

But “LHHA” isn’t the only thing that Smith talked about. Read what he had to say about his sex tape with Faust after the cut.
