Bravo’s “Fashion Queens” gets the ax.

In 2013, fashion maven Bevy Smith and celebrity hairstylists Derek J and Miss Lawrence nabbed a style chat series on the famed reality TV network, which kicked off with a three-episode trial run. For three seasons, the 30-minute fashion intervention, which featured the three co-hosts as they critiqued everything from A-listers strutting down the red carpet to celebrity cover stars. But all that has reportedly come to an end.

According to Smith, the cast is parting ways. “It really is OK. We started with a three episode order, and it turned into three seasons. … To start something with three episodes and it go for three seasons, how can we really complain?” she told The YBF.

“Like any good runs, things come to an end. … It’s a teachable moment for me and I hope to inspire people,” she continued.

And while Bravo has played mum about the cancellation, Smith is certainly not waiting around for her next big break. She’s reportedly launching a podcast titled “Bevy Says” (with Mona Scott-Young as an upcoming guest) in September. Sounds interesting. We’re sure as a long time television personality and businesswoman, she’ll have a few gems to pass on to those trying to break into the entertainment industry.
