Producers for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” have been working overtime on casting new ladies to make up for the loss of NeNe Leakes from the series. Now, reports claim producers have made a groundbreaking move by adding their first transgender cast member to the show.
According to TMZ, popular transgender model Amiyah Scott has been cast to join the show for its 8th season. Scott, 27, began her transition to a woman a decade ago and over the last few years, she’s rose to fame online for her stunning looks.
Besides her beauty, Scott has also been romantically linked to a number of rappers.
Despite TMZ’s report, Lovebscott.com reports that their sources claim Scott has indeed filmed for the show, but she’s not going to be an official Housewife, nor has she been officially added to the cast. However, there is a chance, like with Claudia Jordan, that Scott could provide a great storyline and have her role increased for the show as filming continues.
Well, we’ll definitely wait and see how this goes, but this already sounds like an exciting move for “RHOA.”
