Lots of girls look up to blond bombshell Amber Rose, but it seems like that ambition to be like Rose was used against several girls recently because a new report claims that Rose was unknowingly involved in a prostitution scam.
According to TMZ, the LAPD was recently alerted to alleged criminal activity by a company that was soliciting models “for a paid celebrity photo shoot and clothing line.”
The report claims that models would see an ad for the company on Instagram and when they contacted the company, they were told that Rose played a pivotal role in selecting girls. The company then set up fake FaceTime sessions between Rose and the models.
However, instead of actually talking with Rose, the models were really tricked into watching an old video of Rose on UStream in which she greets her audience before struggling with a bad connection, which eventually fails.
The company would then set the models up “on dates with rich guys.” However, before the girls arrived on the date, the company would ask them to get intimate with the men, explaining to the girls that sleeping with the men would help their career and that Rose would help them find success.
However, one of the models wised up to the scam and filed a police report against the company on Monday, saying they were trying to trick her into taking part in a prostitution ring.
