Transgender model Amiyah Scott made headlines last week when it was revealed that she was filming for the eighth season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” And although fans have been excited to see what Scott’s storyline would be about, rumors are now flying that Scott is lying on camera about who her boyfriend is.
According to TheJasmineBrand.com, Scott, who is reportedly not an official cast member yet, was spotted filming for “RHOA” alongside her alleged boyfriend, hairstylist Kellon Deryck. However, sources are now claiming that Deryck is really Scott’s best friend and that she asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend so that producers would hire her for the show.
Sources also say that Scott wants to keep the secret under the rug, but that is hard because Deryck allegedly has a boyfriend.
If Scott is lying, she wouldn’t be the first cast member to be accused of lying about a relationship. During Kenya Moore’s initial season on “RHOA,” her then-boyfriend claimed that she paid him to pretend to be her boyfriend on the show. Although Moore denied his claims, many fans still believe that she lied to generate a storyline for the show.
