While chatting with Williams, Brock talked about his tumultuous relationship with his ex-girlfriend and best friend, whom he came out to this season on “LHH Hollywood.” Although Williams accused Brock of using her as a beard, he claims that was not the case and that he hasn’t been with Amber in years.
“Didn’t use her as a beard. I was in love with Amber and I love Amber. I didn’t know if it was just a phase,” Brock said, adding that he and Amber are friends now.
Brock also explained why he joined the cast with Christopher as the first openly gay male couple in the franchise.
“You know what, there’s a Miles in every family and there’s a million Ambers out there. So if we can stand up and be the pioneers, just living our truth and accept ourselves and love ourselves, as hard as it is, all the tweets, all the emails, all the DMs that I get thanking me, I know I’m helping somebody else,” Brock said.
