Despite the many warnings given in the media, teens are still making bad decisions with cellphones. Take for example three teens at Ponderosa High School in El Dorado County, California, who have made a decision that will follow them through life. The trio decided to make a sex tape. The film shows a girl,15, performing sex acts on a boy,16, while another boy, 15,  filmed the action on a cellphone. The students’ names were not released but, the sex tape spread throughout the high school and caught the attention of administrators who notified law enforcement.

The police arrested the two boys and they are now facing charges of distributing child porn, sexually exploiting a child and conspiracy to commit a crime. The girl was not charged and has claimed she did not consent and did not know she was being filmed, according to FOX40  News. Because of the age of the girl, she may have not been legally able to consent. It’s not known whether the video was made on or off campus.

Parents at the school are outraged, embarrassed and concerned over the incident. Some were concerned about the possibility of cyber bullying by students. Now the two boys will more than likely be labeled sex offenders and face serious jail time.
