Big Boy
The radio legend was around 500 pounds when superstar Will Smith offered to pay him $1,000 for every pound he lost. After losing 110 pounds and cashing his $110,000 check, he went right back to eating full plates of nachos. When he gained all the weight back and then some, his legs began to go numb and he developed shortness of breathe.
“You can’t smoke a little bit of heroin,” he explained. “You can’t smoke a little bit of crack. I couldn’t have a little bit of nachos.”
Big Boy began his weight loss journey with bariatric surgery, in which 70 percent of his stomach was cut out and reattached to the lower-third portion of his smaller intestine. He came out of the surgery 300 pounds lighter, and he now eats clean to keep the weight off.
