Blogger Shaunic Brown stopped by the rolling out booth during the third annual Family Dollar Fabulous event to chat about blogging and Brown Girls. She talked about how she got started in blogging and where she’s going with her brand.
Tell us about blogging and Brown Girls.
I am Shaunic of BrownGirlStyle.com. You can also find me on YouTube as BrownGirlHair. I am a natural hair, fashion and beauty blogger. I got started on YouTube by doing hair tutorials on my daughter’s hair. And I’m also expanding it to be fashion and also beauty — that’s where BrownGirlStyle comes in.
What has your experience been like at the Family Dollar Fabulous event?
I have had a fabulous time being here, being a part of the Family Dollar Fabulous event. It has really opened my eyes to see that Family Dollar is way more than just toothpaste or lotions. But you can also even get their new line of clothing brand, which is called “Just Be” and it’s very reasonably priced, and the pieces are magnificent. But I just want to let you know that the event has been great. Family Dollar is a great place to shop. They have so many different varieties of things, and it fits in every budget. So, I’m honored to be a part of this event. Thank you so much for having me and I look forward to being a part of more Family Dollar events in the future.
