Tyra Banks was once one of the queens of daytime TV and it seemed like she was going to reclaim her throne last year when she made her daytime return as a co-host on the talk show “FABLife.” However, after just two months on the show, Banks revealed that she was leaving to focus on her beauty line. Now, with Banks’ time on the show coming to an end, rumors are swirling about who will replace Banks.
According to TMZ, the short list of of women being eyed to take Banks’ place include Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum, Christina Milian, Sherri Shepherd, Rocco DiSpirito, Tori Spelling and Keke Palmer.
Sources say there’s no one in the lead yet, but most of the women on the list have expressed interest in taking the job.
Another woman who is interested in taking the job is Guiliana Rancic, who stepped down as a host on “E! News” last year. Rancic has reportedly been in talks with producers and plans to “test the waters” to see if she’s a good fit.
The sources claim the ratings are steady enough that producers are in no hurry to find Banks’ replacement, but we expect to see a new woman in her seat sometime this year.
