Kenya skips out on Cynthia’s meeting
At the beatless brunch, Cynthia followed up with Kim and Kenya about her request to have them co-direct a commercial for her new eyewear line. Cynthia reveals that she wants to shoot an on-location commercial on the sandy beaches of Jamaica, and that she wants all of the ladies to come on the trip. Cynthia invites Kim and Kenya out for another day so they can meet up and discuss whatever creative ideas they have for the commercial and figure out which lady will be directing the clip. However, the day of the meeting, Kenya flakes on the meeting, saying that she’s dealing with some emergencies with Moore Manor. Kim is the only one able to pitch her idea of Jamaica meets Hollywood and Cynthia loves it. But she asks Kim if she’s willing to work with Kenya and Kim says that she’ll never tell a client that she can’t work with anyone, but she doesn’t co-direct and she isn’t interested in negative energy. However, she’ll play nice with anyone to get the job done. Cynthia explains that she’ll meet with Kenya later to hear her pitch and that she really wants the two ladies to work together to create a great commercial.
