Last season on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Stevie J faced some serious consequences due to his cocaine addiction when he was ordered to enter a rehab program or face jail time. At the time, Stevie struggled with even admitting that he had a drug problem and getting through the program. But now that the reality star is sober, he’s finally opening up about how he got addicted to the drug.

In a new interview with the “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” Stevie revealed he was swayed into cocaine by the people around him.

“Man, I was at the Trump in New York City. All my buddies used to do it and I used to say, ‘I’m cool, you know, I smoke my weed.’ And it was just a plethora of women around and everybody was in it and I was like ‘Let me try that.’ I tried it once. I woke up the next morning like ‘Yo, what happened?’ I fell asleep on everybody,” Stevie explained

However, Stevie then explained that his habit went from a once a week thing to a daily thing when he moved to L.A.

“After the L.A. thing, I moved back out here to Atlanta and I started to focus more on my children. But L.A. is really where it got bananas,” Stevie said.

But his past drug addiction wasn’t the only thing that Stevie talked about. Read what he had to say about his marriage to Joseline Hernandez after the cut.
