Jordin Sparks and Sage The Gemini were one of music’s most affectionate couples in public and it seemed like they had what it takes make it last forever. However, after only 10 months of dating, it was revealed this month that the couple decided to call it quits on their relationship. Since then, Sage has been wearing his broken heart on his sleeve and now he’s penned an open letter to Sparks, asking her to give him a second chance.
Sparks and Gemini’s relationship started out strong with the couple regularly posting about their love for each other. Sage even repeatedly said that he wanted to marry Sparks. But according to media reports, sources say that Sparks had trust issues and Sage’s behavior wasn’t making things any better for the two.
Sources say that the pair were initially able to resolve their issues, but because of Sparks’ nasty breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Jason Derulo, she just wasn’t willing to go through the same thing again with Sage and they broke up.
Recently, Sage posted a now-deleted throwback photo of himself and Sparks, along with a lengthy caption begging Sparks for a second chance.
“Can’t sit here and act industry like this s— don’t hurt me. You the only girl I can call at 3 in the morning and you’ll answer no problem. You the only girl that can wake up out of a dead sleep and get me some water because I was coughing in my sleep the only girl that loves me the way you were supposed to,” he began.
“I miss you too much to watch you look so amazing at the Clyde Davis party and not be able to call you and express how much I appreciated the look because you won’t answer nor text back the feeling is horrible. You see this picture? … That’s the picture of me lookin at n—-s lookin at you and givin them the eye like ‘wassup n—-‘ and you like it’s OK babe and you makin me smile and feel just a little more secure about it,” he said.
“Lol it kinda reminds me of the picture of the little lady standing in front of the hulk and being the only one that can calm him down that’s you ya know? But yea this s— is crazy i just wanna tell you I’m still being a good boy just in case you come to your senses. Valentine’s Day was supposed to be a special day I wanted that to be our anniversary because it’s your grandparents’ and maybe we could’ve double dated remember? Please call me back I just want like a hug and a kiss or something. Sincerely Dominic Wynn Woods,” he ended the message.
But that’s not all that Sage did. After deleting the post, he then posted a new song on his SoundCloud page titled, “I’ll Keep Loving You.”
In the song, which is obviously about Sparks, Sage sings, “Imma put my faith in this song, yeah / Tell all your exes begone, yeah / Just come home ’cause it’s all here / Yeah, because it’s all here / I know he was doing you wrong, yeah / I know he was doing wrong, yeah / I will never steer you wrong, yeah / Tell your ex-boyfriend that you’re gone / Someone loves you more than before.”
