It seems like it was just yesterday that Omarion and his longtime girlfriend Apryl Jones happily announced in September that they were expecting their second child together. But yesterday the former reality TV singer announced that he and Jones had finally welcomed their second baby, a daughter, into the world.

Omarion revealed the news yesterday in a short video, saying, “You know why I’m in such a good mood? It’s because I had my daughter this morning.”

The couple, who already have a son, Megaa Omari Grandberry, haven’t revealed anything else about their daughter’s birth and there’s no telling when they’ll share the first photos of the little baby girl or even reveal her name.

And fans won’t find out any time soon on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” since the couple revealed late last year that they made the decision to leave the show after only two seasons. As they explained it, they decided to make their exit in order to avoid the dreaded “reality TV curse” that has ended several other reality TV couples and even torn families apart.

“We have a strong bond,” Jones said. “We just knew coming to reality TV we just knew nothing was going to change that. We’ve never been worried about the ‘show curse’ because when we walked into Love & Hip Hop filming knowing what we were prepared for. They had a lot of respect for me and Omari so we weren’t really worried about that. We knew we would be ok walking in and walking out.”

Considering that O and Jones now have a new addition to their family, we’re glad that they made the decision to put their relationship and family first over staying in the reality TV limelight. And congratulations are definitely in order for them on their new daughter and we hope to hear some wonderful news about their daughter in the near future.
