On Thursday, May 19, KONTROL Magazine hosted the second annual Women of Style Dinner at Suite Lounge in Atlanta. The special occasion highlights outstanding and influential fashion moguls and key influencers in the fashion and beauty industries. The Women of Style award was presented to reality star and best-selling author Toya Wright and renowned fashion designer Maria Harper.
“I wanted to honor the work of women that oftentimes goes unnoticed. Maria and Toya have both made significant contributions to the fashion business, so it’s time to award them for their success. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for these ladies next,” said publisher Julian Lark.
The private affair was also orchestrated to bring together professionals in the entertainment industry to network and mingle in an intimate setting while enjoying a night of fun. The night’s guests included Erica Dixon and Tiffany Fox of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”; and Tameka Raymond of “Hollywood Exes.”
The honorees and the guests celebrated the evening in style while they sipped cocktails provided by Effen Vodka and tasty treats created by Brown Sugar Desserts. Of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without the awesome gift bags courtesy of Creme of Nature. The KONTROL Magazine family certainly left attendees with a night full of memories and fabulous selfies to share with their friends and online followers.
