What is your leadership style?
My leadership style is more of a coach or mentor. One of my greatest assets is my ability to identify and maximize the strengths in my team. I lead through delegation, empowering team members to make decisions, and endorsing them. I feel it is my role to assist them in achieving their desired goals while adding to the success of the company.
What is your company’s mission statement?
Our mission statement at Pink Sky Boutique is to provide our clients with a fashion-forward, trend-setting and personalized shopping experience with exceptional value and quality.
What three skill set are critical for the future employee that you hire for your organization?
Three skills we’ll be looking for will customer service, computer/web graphics, and social media.
How does having an advanced degree benefit you and your clients?
I don’t think it is necessary for the retail industry. If you have it, it would be an asset.
How do you utilize technology to benefit your store?
At Pink Sky Boutique we use e-commerce in addition to our brick and mortar store. We use a POS in store which allows us to capture customer information and sales. We are also increase our brand presence through social media. We are looking to integrate more technology in the future.

I like to go out and support other small business owners at their events and attending networking engagements as well
If you were giving a graduation speech to college students, what would the title of your speech be and give three reasons for that title.
My graduation speech would be titled “Find Your Passion.” If you figure out what you love early, it will never feel like a job. You will have a peace of mind if you love what you are doing. You put in the hard work and the money will follow.
Name your two favorite vacation destinations to relax and recharge, why?
I like any beach destination. No particular favorite. Just sitting at the beach allows me to think about everything, from personal to business
What are you reading and what are your two favorite books?
Just finished The Power of Broke by Daymond John and the Glitter Girls. Both of which are entrepreneur related. No particular favorite, just like inspirational [and] entrepreneurship books.

Three business/political leaders: Oprah Winfrey, President Obama and Daymond John.
Favorite sports team and hobbies?
All things Atlanta Falcons, Hawks and Braves.
