Peterson, who recently published the ebook 7 Days: No Talk, Just Action, was recently named business editor for rolling out magazine and Steed Media.
Peterson recently discussed how she’ll provide content that will inspire the next great business idea.
What is your overall vision as business editor for rolling out?
My vision for rolling out is to create winning content, to bring on a team of community leaders, to contribute articles that speak to our expertise, and to shed a light on rising stars in the business industry.
How will you use your events to help with your editorial position?
I would like to produce more events. My events are more female entrepreneur based. With this position, I’ve started to reach out to more male entrepreneurs so I can hack into their network. We want to highlight CEOs and millionaire and others who are doing huge things in the business community. I would also like to do more events that truly focus on business topics.
What will be your first action?
There will be a new team that will be covering business-related events. But my main focus is creating life-changing content for our readers.
What do you hope to achieve from the experience?
I’m just grateful for the opportunity. I can’t wait to see how this particular department develops. I know this is a new division of rolling out, but I also know this is going to be a division that gets a lot of traction. A lot of people are truly interested in entrepreneurship, now more than ever.
