Nick Gordon has been found ‘legally responsible’ in wrongful death of Bobbi Kristina.

Gordon failed to appear in Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court on Friday, September 16, 2016 to answer to a wrongful death suit filed last August by the estate of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Bedelia Hargrove is the executor of estate,

Gordon elected to represent himself but failed to appear twice leaving Judge T. Jackson Bedford to rule that the plaintiff’s allegations are admitted through omission. The lawsuit sought $50 million in damages.

Bobbi Kristina was only 22-years-old at the time of her death, July 26, 2015. She was found unconscious in her bathtub in January and spent six months in a medically induced coma until she passed away.

Autopsy results released in March 2016 indicated multiple drugs were involved in Brown’s death, including marijuana, alcohol (ethanol), benzoylecgonine (a cocaine-related substance), benzodiazepines (medications used for sedation or to treat anxiety) and morphine.
