Like any mom, Tamar Braxton is fiercely protective of her son, Logan Vincent Herbert, and yesterday she made it clear to one of her online fans that she won’t tolerate anyone making unsolicited comments about her son when she blasted the woman for a suggestion about Logan.
The incident began yesterday after Braxton posted a video on her Instagram page of her husband, Vincent Herbert, playing with their son. After Braxton posted the video, one fan wrote the comment “he could use some speech therapy … coming from a mom who had to hire a speech therapist for my daughter.”
After seeing the comment, Braxton was livid and lashed out at the fan with a scathing response.
“B—h don’t try it. Not with Logan. Call me a hater or petty or whatever they saying today…that I care NOTHING about…But say NOTHING about my child,” Braxton wrote.
The fan tried to defend herself and explain her statement to Braxton, writing back, “I didn’t know speech therapy was an insult. Like I said my daughter had it and she’s 6 now and speaks and reads above grade level. She had it at 2 years old suggested by her daycare teacher. Had I reacted how you are I would have missed out. Man, it hurts to hear someone I watch faithfully on TVand buy your albums call me a b—h…smh.”
Despite her explanation, Braxton still wasn’t backing down and she continued to explain why the fan’s comment was inappropriate.
“There is NO ‘friendly’ advice when it comes to how I raise MY child that you know NOTHING about. But… God bless you,” Braxton wrote in one comment, while in another she wrote, “is that a threat? That because you watch my shows and listen to my music you get to tell me maybe he needs speech class???…..better yet From a STRANGER about their child that you would not have that reaction?? Well then don’t’ watch my shows or buy whatever I’m selling cause we are all fine and cool UNTIL you come for LOGAN VINCENT HERBERT!….I accept your apology. Love ya back.”
After the exchange, Braxton continued to vent her anger with another post addressing those criticizing her defense of her son.
However, hours after this post, Braxton had a change of heart and apologized to the woman. Read her apology after the cut.
