Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill appear to be in some kind of Instagram feud.
It all went down on Thursday, Nov. 3, when the “Anaconda” artist posted a cryptic meme featuring Denzel Washington that reads, “Never help an ungrateful person get on their feet. It’s like telling a wolf that you’re a sheep.”
Though the image didn’t initially appear to be all that significant, our eyes and ears perked up when Mill appeared to fire back with a meme of his own. “Some of y’all need to learn how to enjoy your man’s company instead of picking a fight with him 24/7.”
Meanwhile, In Touch Weekly reports that the “All Eyes on You” rapper also commented directly on Minaj’s post writing, “That’s why I make sure I stand on my own and was M’d up when I met you.”
As previously reported, Minaj revealed that being in a high-profile relationship presents certain challenges. Fortunately for the pair, they can bounce their frustrations off their famous friends. “We actually spoke with Jay Z and Beyoncé about it, too. After our show at [Brooklyn’s] Barclays Center [in October], we had dinner together. They were so giving with advice. I love them so much. It was just a beautiful conversation to have with people we love and we look up to as a couple. They’re so strong,” Minaj told Billboard in Dec. 2015.
