Producer OG Parker discusses his journey from the piano to the studio

OG Parker

From playing the piano with his grandfather to making hit tracks for artists such as the Migos, Johnny Cinco and August Alsina, producer OG Parker has become one of the youngest and only producers at Quality Control Music. He has produced numerous hot songs over the past summer and received his first gold EP, which he claims to be the best thing that happened the summer of 16.

Parker has been producing since the age of 16, and now 21, he has made great connections by working and grinding with artist and friend OG Maco, from whom he took his name. It originated with OG Maco. Thats who I first started making music with, we had a group called OGG,” he says.

Although Parker has done a lot in his 21 years, he admits that his motivation and encouragement of others doesnt come from the money or fame but instead is spiritual. God motivates me, and I pray a lot, he says. Asked to give words of advice for up-and-coming producers, he said, Keep God first, work hard every day, and keep believing in yourself.
