McDonald’s #365FlavorBattle tapped Atlanta’s hottest social celebrities and shipped in the media tastemakers to make sure the event rocked. Angela Yee, Ludacris, Kid Capri, Toya Wright, Kenny Burns, DJ Infamous, DJ Traci Steele and Dondria Nicole were at McDonald’s Flavor Battle. It was an amazing night; imagine your favorite McDonald’s built like a castle with five bars and a live stage.
In addition to the aesthetic appeal of the event space and the dope staging, we got a chance to experience McDonald’s mobile restaurant, the McRig, and feast on the all-day breakfast menu items. I don’t know if I was extremely hungry or everything tasted extra yummy, steamy hot and fresh, but I could really have pulled a chair up to the McRig and never left.
This is probably why the rig was parked outside in the 24-degree weather. Once you ventured back inside the building there were three bars with specialty drinks to warm you right back up.
There were two deejays and two vinyl turntables. If you have real love for the wheels of steel, you would have witnessed a real DJ’s paradise. With Kid Capri, DJ Infamous, DJ Tracey Steele and an MC and lyricist like Ludacris in the house, Burrell Marketing Group utilized the best tools for the occasion. The Flavor Battle finalists Orange Calderon, DJ Iceberg and Quiana Parks all came with the serious game face for the tight competition. All the finalists rocked, but sadly, there could only be one winner.
The three judges included Kenny Burns (the lifestyle specialist flew in all the way from the West Coast); veteran DJ Kid Capri came from the East; and Atlanta’s own DJ Infamous worked with the best.
