Black Twitter erupts after Yahoo N-word Navy mistake starts trending

In a glaring example of why a writer needs to proofread before publishing, Yahoo Finance tweeted an embarrassing news headline. The headline reads “Trump wants a much n—–navy: Here’s how much it will cost” and caused an almost immediate reaction. Of course, the website meant to say “much bigger navy” but Black Twitter responded with some funny race-based posts. Twitter reportedly has stopped the #n—–navy from trending but here are a few of the comments:
