It seems that there’ll be no reconciliation for Larsa and Scottie Pippen.
Previously reported, the Chicago Bulls vet filed for divorce from his wife of 19 years last October. According to Florida court documents, the hall of famer, 51, filed for divorce from the “Real Housewives of Miami” alum on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Larsa was notified on Thursday, Oct 20. “This is a very difficult time for Mr. Pippen. He is hopeful that the divorce will be swift and amicable,” Scottie’s attorney Roberta G. Stanley told People at the time. “We are respecting his request to protect his privacy and the privacy of his children during the dissolution of marriage proceedings.”
“After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage. Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their four beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect. She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family,” another insider told “E! News.”
Fast forward to March and it appeared that the couple had made amends after Larsa posted what appeared to be a date night photo via Instagram. “XO,” the caption read. Neither party acknowledged rumors of reconciliation. This week, fans got reports that indicate there are still rough waters ahead.
In fact, sources tell TMZ that the former lovebirds will move forward with the divorce. Still, “the NBA legend and the former ‘Real Housewives’ star are on really good terms and have vowed to remain friends after the split,” the insider continued, adding that, despite rumors of domestic abuse and repeated visits from authorities at their Fort Lauderdale home, “couples argue” but “it never got physical.”
The couple, who wed in 1997, have three sons: Scottie Jr., Justin and Preston, and one daughter, Sophia.
