One of the most powerful moments during the two days of the conference was an audition-master class that was given by actor Laz Alonso and actress Lalanya Masters. Watching these professionals provide heartfelt guidance to those looking to break into the entertainment industry was invaluable. The critiques were honest, straightforward and purposeful. It was inspiring to see total changes in the way some of the up-and-coming actors and actresses were approaching their characters based on a minor suggestion from Masters and Alonso.
