Supakaine has released a slew of singles this year in preparation for his new project, Scholastica Park. The Detroit artist hasn’t taken his foot off the gas and it looks as if his latest single, “Black and Blue,” is the final piece to the musical puzzle that makes up Scholastica Park.
Produced by Detroit rapper-producer Young RJ and Gaddymane, “Black and Blue” introduces listeners to various generations of Detroit rap. Supakaine, along with Doughboyz Cashout member Fenkell Payroll, and Detroit’s own Guilty Simpson provide a gumbo of rhyme schemes and flows that represent each area of hip-hop in the Motor City. Each rapper also has his own distinct following in the city, which makes the track even more special.
Scholastica Park will be available on all streaming platforms on Oct. 31.
