Cursing Virginia woman reports arson on Facebook Live, fire marshall disses her
Rhoda Young and her cameraman (Facebook)

Rhoda Young was simply “reporting live” on Facebook to her fans while on the scene of a house fire in Norfolk, Virginia. She starts her risqué and hilarious reporting on Nov. 27 like this: “We on the scene of this b***h.” Young and her cameraman capture the confession of the alleged arsonist on camera.

“This is Rhoda Young reporting live … I’m a volunteer,” she says before solving the case for the fire marshal on Facebook Live.

She walks toward what appears to be an eye witness sitting on the lawn in front of the burning home. The man is accompanied by a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. He turns out to be the homeowner.

Here’s the dialogue:

Young: That’s your house? Oh god! Bless you. Now lemme ask you this: How did it catch on fire?
Man: I dunno.
Young: Was you home?
Man: Yeah.
[Fearing for her life and the possibility of being harmed by an electrical fire.]
Young: Oh s**t, f**k, f**k, let’s get out of here. I need to get this street blocked off.
[Young notices that the home dweller suffered burns to his hair and face.]
Man: Don’t hit me now.
[They high five]
Young: The owner of the house was upstairs when the fire started…Doing my investigation, I have now discovered his motherf*****g hair was on fire, and his pants is burned off his d**n leg. So he was right there when the fire started, and he got a six pack of godd**n PBR. So now I gotta figure out how he start that fire.’
[She tells a firefighter that she discovered what caused the fire, but the firefighter dismisses her claim.]
Young: Once again, that’s the owner, drunk as a motherf****r. Allegedly, this man set his house on fire. He has allegedly been placed under arrest. He allegedly admitted to setting his house on fire. I did solve the crime before the fire marshal got on the scene. Whether or not they want to give me gratitude or tell me thank you, but guess what: I know I did my job.
