Donald Glover, cast of ‘Atlanta’ host season 2 premiere in Atlanta

Donald Glover and the cast of “Atlanta” recently held a black carpet screening for season 2 of the FX show. Held at the Starlight Six Drive-In located in East Atlanta, the event featured a black carpet that included Atlanta music artists Sonny Digital, Sahbabii and music industry vet Kawan “KP” Prather.

Following the black carpet, attendees got an opportunity to screen the first two episodes of season 2 of “Atlanta,” which is being tagged as “Robbin’ Season.”

Glover and cast also joined attendees for an after party that mostly featured music from Atlanta-based rappers, an “Atlanta”-themed video booth, and southern foods such as shrimp and grits.

“Atlanta” season 2 will premiere on March 1.
