The best part of “The Breakfast Club” this month was DJ Envy walking out of an interview with Desus and Mero after declaring the fast-rising comedy pair were out of line with a joke about Envy’s wife and demanding an apology.
When DJ Envy and his wife, Gia Casey, visited “Desus & Mero” a few days before, the comedy duo jokingly stated that DJ Envy’s wife was with him “for the check,” which Envy said he and his wife did not appreciate.
The morning show showdown made for great material for “Desus & Mero” that same night, so when it came time for Thursday’s episode of “Desus and Mero,” the pair broke down the imbroglio, clip by clip, and blasted Envy into oblivion.
Many people were crying-laughing at the latest episode of “Desus & Mero.” We suspect that DJ Envy was not one of them.
