An unidentified woman in Dallas is making a bombshell allegation against singer R.Kelly. The woman claims she was being groomed for R. Kelly’s alleged sex cult when she was 19. According to the Washington Post, she dated the singer from June 2017 to February 2018 when the relationship ended suddenly.

According to the woman’s lawyer, identified as Lee Merritt, Kelly is painted as being controlling and abusive to his client. Merritt stated, Kelly engaged in “several forms of criminal misconduct” including “unlawful restraint, furnishing alcohol and illegal drugs to a minor, and aggravated assault (via the referenced intentional STD infection).”

Merritt went on to state, “These offenses occurred while our client was being groomed to join Kelly’s sex cult. Kelly gradually introduced the cult to our client over the course of their relationship, culminating with an explanation that she would have to sign a contract and offer collateral information about herself and her family for Kelly’s protection. A police report was filed against R. Kelly, real name Robert Sylvester Kelly, by the woman with the Dallas Police Department. The victim intends to follow a civil lawsuit against the singer, as well. Kelly’s legal team has categorically denied the woman’s accusation.

Kelly has vehemently denied the allegations.
