Shots were fired at a Beverly Hills mansion video shoot where two of the country’s top rappers were on set with another en route.

Last night, Tekashi 6ix9ine and Kanye West were exposed to gunfire, according to TMZ. Tekashi reportedly had rented out an $80 million mansion in an exclusive Beverly Hills neighborhood to film a video that features Kanye and Nicki Minaj for a song on his upcoming album. Prior to the filming, Tekashi had been on social media taunting local gang members to pull up, so they did, and he was caught “lacking.”

At around 10:25 p.m., witnesses state that they heard at least 10 shots as rappers and crew scattered for safety. After the car of shooters pulled off, Kanye reportedly ran for his life back to his vehicle and fled the scene. Nicki Minaj had not yet arrived, and when her team heard about the incident, she decided to not go to the set.

At this time, police have recovered five shell casings and are trying to determine if any bullets hit the home or other surrounding properties.

In the past, Tekashi has touted his membership in a violent gang known as the  9 Trey Bloods. In songs and social media posts, he has talked about prior violent activity and almost went to jail in New York over his actions. Over the past several months he has openly taunted members of the Los Angeles OG Bloods gang. He has been seen on the streets of Los Angeles recently with a large security detail of armed guards.

There has been no statement at this time from any of the rappers management teams about the incident.
